38th Hope Games for the disable holds November

This year’s edition of the Hope Games for the disable has been scheduled to hold on Thursday November 11 and Friday November 12th, 2021, at the premises of the Kwara State School for the Special Needs.

The Games, which is now in the 38th edition of the annual Inter-house Athletics and football competitions, will begin on Thursday November 11, with a friendly football game between the School for the Special Needs and a selected school, at the school’s playing pitch.

Dignitaries expected to grace the football match; fixed for 4.00pm are the Deputy Governor of the state, Mr. Kayode Alabi, as the Special Guest of Honour, and the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun, as the Guest of Honour.

Others are the Executive Chairman, Kwara State Sports Commission, Mallam Bola Mogaji as the Guest of Honour, while the duo of Senior Special Apostle J. O. Awotuyi and Hon. Ganiyat Omolara Sanni, the Vice Chairperson of Isin Local Government Area will be the Chairman and Chairperson of the occasion.

On Friday November 12th, which is the Grand Finale, His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kwara state, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is expected to grace the occasion as the Special Guest of Honour.

Also expected are the Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development, Hajia Modibo Kawu, Kwara Commissioner of Police, Tuesday Assayomo, Special Apostle Evangelist R. A. Adeoti (Chairman) and Chief Alhaja Wosilat Macarthy (Chairperson).

The Hope Games for the disable is organized annually by Adebisi Fabiyi Foundation, Omu-Aran, and sponsored by Rev. Dr. Elisha Adebisi Fabiyi.
