ABS FC to benefit from TopPro Sports deal -Barrister Ogieva

The General Manager of TopPro Sports, Barrister Henry Ogieva said that Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) FC will benefit enormously from the partnership due to their track records.

Barrister Ogieva stated this during the official unveiling of 24 newly signed ABS FC players at the Kwara State Stadium Complex, Ilorin on Friday.

Barrister Ogieva, who spoke on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Ayodele Thomas, former President of Football Intermediaries Association of Nigeria (FIAN) said the company decided to partner with ABS FC to open up international market and provide a bigger platform whereby both parties will have that robust mutual understanding in terms of sports business when it comes to football.

Barrister Ogieva said, “TopPro Sports is a leading football management company in Nigeria and Europe with a laudable track record. Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) FC has left a footprint when it comes to football in Nigeria. We have been following their achievements and discovered that the philosophy of the football club with all their successes in terms of players’ development and high level performance their players recorded over the years, aligns with out philosophy as a football management company.

“We decided to partner with ABS FC to open up international market and provide a bigger platform whereby both parties will have that robust mutual understanding in terms of sports business when it comes to football. Basically, it is that philosophy of ABS FC towards football that attracted us to the club.

He added that, “There is a lot to benefit in terms of what has been offered in the relationship between both parties. Part of the arrangement of the deal includes kit sponsorship and opening up market opportunities for players to ply their trade abroad where their talents will be harnessed.”

Barrister Ogieva revealed that the company is currently managing some Africa players including Cameroon National women’s team goalkeeper, Ange Bawou.

He said, “We have a lot of players to our credit as a management company; we are currently managing goalkeeper of the Cameroon women’s national team, Ange Bawou and Touta Noelle, Cameroonian Female National Team Midfielder. Top Pro has a lot of partners in Europe and with this network that is extended will be an avenue for ABS FC to benefit in terms of players transfer and negotiation.

“TopPro have a track record when it comes to negotiating deals on behalf of players as a global sports management company. These are part of the benefits ABS FC stand to gain from this relationship.”

“All the successes we have recorded can be attributed to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Ayodele Thomas, who was the former President FIAN, an international acclaimed football Agent with English Football Association (licensed) and Polish Football Association (licensed)”, he added.
