Chiejine will add value to Super Falcons -Bayour Issah

Publisher and CEO of Sportspro News, Bayour Issah has tipped the newly appointed first Assistant Coach of the Nigeria Super Falcons, Ann Chiejine for laurels in her new assignment.

The ace sportscaster described the former Nigerian football goalkeeper as a gaffer who enbodies attributes that will advance the enivable position of the team on the continent and the world at large.

He stressed that the former Assistant Coach for the U-17 Nigerian women’s team meteoric rise from being a player to a coach would help her to be an efficient and reckoning voice beside the new Head Coach of the Super Falcons, Randy Waldrum.

Ann Agumanu- Chiejine was recently appointed by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) as the first Assistant Coach to Randy Waldrum, Wemimo Mathew Olanrewaju as second Assistant Coach and Auwar Bashir Makwalla as the Goalkeepers’ Trainer.

As a former coach of Romanian top league side, CS Negrea Resita, she holds CAF license A and B in coaching, attended courses in Nigeria Institute of Sports (NIS) and outside the country and presentIy a CAF Instructor for women football alongside Eucharia Uche.

The mother of three featured in three FIFA Women’s World Cup (1991,1995 and 1999), and one Olympic Games with the Super Falcons of Nigeria. She 
was part of the Nigerian women team that won the African Women’s Championship in 1998, 2000, 2002 and 2004.

Chiejine, who has been consistent with the Nigeria football women league was an outstanding player with Flying Babes and Pelican Stars during her playing days. She had coached COD Female Football Club,Tokas Queens and currently the Head Coach, Abia Angels of Aba.
