The management of Gidado Football Club has commended the leadership of the Nationwide League One (NLO) for its efforts towards developing the league.
In a statement by the club General Manager, Funsho Muhammad on Wednesday, he noted that the NLO under the auspices of Alhaji Mohammed Alkali and the watchful operation eyes of Shola Ogunnowo has redefined league administration and management in the country.
Noting the recent UK Business Tour by the league as a laudable one, it described the move as a strategic drive that will translate to more progresses in the development of the game.
“The UK business tour of the NLO was yet another indication that the leadership of the league are keen to bring about the best from the system. We appreciate such initiative because we believe it will further open a new vista for the league considering its importance in the country’s football set up “
While urging NLO not to relent on their oars, the statement further enjoined the league management to continue its drive towards achieving a vibrant and business friendly football ecosystem.
It would be recalled that Gidado FC once benefited from a strategic developmental drive of the NLO when the Technical Adviser of the Club was in 2020, among some club officials sent to UK for capacity building.
