Not fewer than 80 golfers have showed interest to take part in an 18 holes one-day golf competition billed for Saturday 2nd of October 2021, on Ilorin golf course as part of activities to celebrate Lubcon Limited at 30.
The competition that will feature Professionals, Amateurs, Ladies, Veterans and Super Veterans will tee-off 8.00am, while the ceremonial tee-off will be performed by the Chairman, Lubcon Limited, Alhaji Jani Ibrahim.
Other invited guests that will join Alhaji Jani are former AGF/Minister of Justice, Chief Bayo Ojo (SAN) and Engr. Yusuf Lanre Sagaya, the Zanna of Ilorin.
The tee-off will come up by 9:30am.
Speaking to newsmen, the Captain of Ilorin Golf Club, Chief Ray Okafor said that the club rejoices with Lubcon Limited on the occasion of the lubricants oil-making company’s 30 years of doing business in and outside the shores of the country.
The Captain wished them many more rewarding years in business, and assured participants of swell time as arrangements are in top gear to ensure a hitch free competition.
The competition will climax with a dinner and presentation of prizes to the winners at the Club’s Ultra modern Club House, by 7.00pm.
