A member of Kwara All-Stars family, Otunba Wale Alao Richard has pledged to continue to support the development of humanity, especially through sports.
The former Secretary of Crown FC of Ogbomosho also added that he will continue to support the meaningful development of the youth, so as to have a better society.
Otunba Richard made the pledge while talking to newsmen, in the aftermath of the support he gave to the organizers of the ongoing Inter-Secondary Schools Volleyball Championship, holding at the Indoor Sports Hall of the Kwara State Sports Commission.
“I played and managed football. I was former Secretary of Crown FC, former Team Manager and Financial Secretary of the club, but I am supporting anything sports, especially at the grassroots, as it concerns the young ones that we need to support to grow meaningfully”, he said.
“The little I have, I pledged to give, to support the Volleyball Championship, and I wish them well, and also urged them to take advantage of the coming together to unite themselves.
Otunba Richard also charged other well meaning individuals to emulate the gesture, for the sake of the young ones.
“We all need to come together to support the young ones to grow, as that will encourage them from doing what is not right.
Meanwhile, the competition continues today, at the Indoor Sports Hall of the Kwara State Sports Commission.
