Ilorin East U-15 female football championship kicks off today

The maiden edition of Ilorin East Football Council organised U-15 female football championship  will kick off today, at Oke-Oyi, with Maya/Ileapa Ward taking on Agbeyangi Ward in the opening match by 4.00pm.

Twelve teams registered for the competition, which includes Oke-Oyi/Oke-Ose Ward, Iponrin Ward, Apado Ward, Marafa/Pepele Ward, Maya/Ileapa Ward, Magaji Are I Ward, Magaji Are II Ward, Gambari I Ward, Gambari II Ward, Sango Ward, Ibafun Ward,  and Agbeyangu Ward.

The screening exercise which held at Akerebiata  was attended by the Proprietress of Abruka Queens, Hajia Segilola Alaya, who is also a member of the Kwara State Football Association, Mallam Ahmed Abdulah, the Special Assistant to Kwara FA Chairman on Technical Matters, Alhaji Morawo and other stakeholders. 

Alhaji Toyin Olokoba, Hajia Segilola Alaya and others were  commended  for bankrolling the screening exercise where selected players will be given the opportunities to showcase their talents.

The screening exercise was also witnessed by  members of Ilorin East Football Council and football stakeholders.

The Chairman of Ilorin East Football Council, Alhaji Toyin Olokoba, represented by Alhaji Morawo thanked the board members for their support and pray to God to strengthen them.
