Kwara DOS officially retires from service tomorrow

Kwara State Director of Sports, Mallam Tunde Kazeem will officially retire from the civil service tomorrow July 1, 2020,  with retirement thanksgiving and pull-out ceremony scheduled to hold at the Indoor Sports Hall of the Kwara State Stadium Complex, Ilorin, beginning from 11.00am.

Mallam Tunde Kazeem joined the civil service in 1985, rose through the ranks to become the Director of Sports in the state. He was former Kwara athlete.

Highlights of the thanksgiving ceremony will include special prayers, meeting with both management and staffers of the Sports Council, and a grand reception and pulling out ceremony.

The reception and pulling out ceremony will be witnessed by the who is who is sports in Kwara and Nigeria, including the Deputy Governor of the state, Mr. Kayode Alabi, the Minister of Sports, Mr. Sunday Dare, Chairmen of Sporting Associations, Sports Council partners and sponsors, friends and well wishers as well as sports enthusiasts.

The ceremony at the Indoor Sports Hall will hold with full compliance with the Covid-18 protocols, which includes washing of hands, application of hand sanitizers and physical distancing measures.
