In light of the on-going developments in the spread of COVID-19 across Nigeria and the effects on football, Kwara State Football Association has invited representatives of football councils, management of elite clubs and all affiliated bodies to attend a stakeholders meeting on Tuesday 14 July, 2020, by 11.00am, to discuss critical issues.

Chairman of the association, Malam Idris Musa Abdullahi said that the rationale behind the planned meeting, billed for Conference Room of the Kwara State Stadium Complex is in two folds.

Discussions will include the recent decision from the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to end the league and domestic competitions, including the AITEO Federation Cup and football development in the Kwara, particularly, the vacant position from Ilorin East/West Football Council.

He called on concerned stakeholders to be available and note that the meeting will be held with full compliance with Covid-19 precautionary measures as mandated by the Federal Government.
