Kwara FA reaffirms commitment to female football

The Chairman of the Kwara State Football Association, Malam Idris Musa Abdullahi has restated the board will pay massive attention to the development of female football in the state.


Malam Musa confirmed yesterday in Ilorin, that plans are in the pipeline to aggressively elevate  grassroots development of the game while receiving the management and players of Moje Queens of Erin-Ile, whose leadership he commended for its unrelentless efforts in promoting the image of the state with their previous acheivements.


He disclosed that the leadership of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has resolved to invest in female football throughout the nation hence, assured Moje Queens of the FA commitments in supporting the club towards reaching greater heights.


While relaying the club’s message to the FA,  the Vice Chairman of the Club, Ademola Kiyesola, noted that the club will continue to embrace the success stories of the executive committee of the FA and commended Malam Musa’s vision in changing the face of Kwara football.


He gave a brief explanation on how the club has been operating and the successes it has recorded in recent times, while calling on the FA to assist in exploring support from the government and other possible channels.
The meeting which was held in full compliance of COVID-19 precautionary measures, had in presence, FA Secretary, Kashim Agaka, Abdullah Ahmed and host of others.
