The Kwara State Football Association has condoled with the Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Yakub Salihu Danaldi following the demise of his father, Tafarikin Borgu, Alhaji Salihu Aliyu.
A condolence message made available by the Association Media Aide, Bolaji Lawal said, FA Boss Malam Idris Abdullahi Musa commiserate with the people of Gwanara and Borgu Kingdoms, urging the families of the Lawmaker to find strength in late Alhaji Aliyu’s good works.
According to the statement, Malam Idris added that the entire Gwanara Community would miss the deceased’s counsel and guidance, garnered from years of working hard to raise a disciplined family.
Malam Idris noted that Rt. Hon. Danladi was instrumental in fast tracking funds from the state government in completing the first Football Secretariat in the country, and also supported his board’s campaigns at the grassroots.
“We deeply sympathizes with the family of the deceased and pray that Allah (SWT) would comfort them and grant our father Aljanah Firdaus “, he concluded.
Late Alhaji Aliyu, who also fathers Hajia Jummai Kperogi, (Clerk of the Kwara House of Assembly) and Mohammed Salihu (Former Chairman, Baruteen Local Government) died last Thursday, and have been buried according to Islamic rites.
His Fidau prayers comes up on Friday, 24th June, 2022 in Gwanara.
