Chairman of the Kwara State Football Association, Malam Idris Abdullahi Musa has maintained that only the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and State Football Association’s are shouldered with the responsibilities of organizing, supervising and controlling football activities.

The latest reaction from the FA boss was based on the Federal Government decision to uplift the ban on football with emphasis laid on the guiding protocols.

He said certain conditions have been set aside for football to resume, but insisted that untill the NFF gives the go ahead, anyone organising any form of football activities has breached the protocol and will be duly sanctioned.

Malam Musa noted that concerned parties, including all affiliated clubs and bodies should liaise with the FA for further directives in order to be guided accordingly.

“I will like to tell all concerned parties that we are doing our possible best to ensure football activities gets underway but we’ve to be empowered by higher authorities (NFF and Kwara State Government) to give the go ahead.

“It was the NFF who directed us to terminate all football activities, we have to wait for the same NFF to tell us to go back to the playing field and I am urging everyone to cooperate with us”, he concluded.
