Kwara SA Sports Attahiru pledges support for Beach Soccer in Nigeria

The Special Adviser on Sports Development to the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Alhaji Attahiru Ibrahim has pledge full support for the development of Beach Soccer in Nigeria.

The Special Adviser was a surprise guest at the ongoing 2022 first round National Beach Soccer League in Kwara State in the game between Nmanko Patigi BSC and Kebbi BSC, which Kebbi BSC won by 4-3 via penalties, after the game had ended 2-2 at regulation time.

“I am happy to be here, it actually my first time of watching Beach Soccer and I must say I am impressed by what I met on ground”, said the special adviser to journalist.

He also commend the job done by the organizers the National Beach Soccer Association and the Kwara Beach Soccer Association chairman in what he describes as the ‘Best’ also stating that the Kwara state government will continue to encourage and support the growth of Beach Soccer in the Country.

“When you talk about organization and you have the right people in place then you get the best results and that is exactly what is happening here this is the median competition here in Kwara State honestly it is called for I’m impressed”.

“I am Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Kwara State for Youth and Sports. My Governor and I believe in Youth Empowerment and that is exactly what led to Nmanko Beach Soccer team we believe in empowering Youths and we feel the best way to do it is through sports and that is what brought about the Beach Soccer team.

“We will encourage the team and support them to greater heights through this sports I said this is my first time and I’m impressed we go back to the drawing board and do more to support the growth of Beach Soccer in the country.
