Kwara United: Air Force assures on adequate security during matches

Kwara United FC have been assured of adequate security coverage during it’s home matches at the Kwara State Stadium Complex, by the Commander, 303 MAG, Nigeria Air Force, Ilorin.


The club’s management, led by the Chairman, Kumbi Titiloye had requested for the services of the Air Force personnel during a courtesy call on the Commander today in Ilorin.


The club made the request head of the commencement of Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) 2020/2021 season, as part of the Club’s Matchday security at the Kwara State Stadium Complex, Ilorin on every home match.

It would be recalled that the club earlier pledged to raise standards on all fronts, and ensure effective crowd control, and to clamp down heavily on trouble makers during home matches, in the forthcoming season.


He said that security should be taken serious, in view of the numerous challenges and targets of the club in the coming season.


Titiloye added that similar visits would be paid to all other security agencies, to ensure that the stadium will be safe before, during and after matches.


Serious concerns and issues have been raised by the Kwara FA, Kwara United FC Supporters Club and other stakeholders, following previous experiences at the stadium during the team’s home matches.
The Chairman presented him with the club’s souvenirs.

The team was recieved by the Commander, Medium Airlift Group, Air Commodore I.V. Ajiboye, who promised to give out 12 of his men at every match day to enhance the security of the stadium.
