Kwara United TA sends three to coaching course

The Technical Adviser of Kwara United FC, Coach Abdullahi Biffo has sent three coaches to National Institute for Sports (NIS) o update their technical knowledge.

Coach Biffo, according to reports, has paid the money for the three coaches, who are members of Nigeria Football Coaches Association (NFCA) Kwara state chapter, to study at NIS, and are expected to resume school this week. 

The three coaches are Tijani Babatunde (Iku), Saadu Folley Yusuf and Jimoh Abdulkadir kehinde.

While reacting to the gesture, the Chairman of NFCA in Kwara, Coach Tunde Sanni commended Biffo for fulfiling the promise the Kwara United FC handler made during the end of the year programme of the association last year.

‘We are very happy about the gesture, and I must commend him for the opportunity. He made the pledge last year during our end of the year programme, and it’s good that he is fulfiling that pledge now.

‘Just like I used to tell my members, you must have the knowledge to do the job. Been former player is not enough to do well in the job’, he added.

‘When I resumed as the Chairman of the association, I encouraged us to always update our knowledge on this job.

He also commended some other coaches who are assising both players and coaches, even as charged ohers to emulate the gesture.

Coach Biffo, while reiterating his readiness to continue to support the association, urged the coaches to take advantage of the situation to better their coaching career.

He advised then to remain focused.
