New Sole Administrator resumes at KFA, receives Sports Commission board

A new Sole Administrator, Mallam Bako Oladele Ibrahim has resumed at the Kwara Football Academy. He replaces Mallam Jimoh Yinusa Kehinde, who retired from service recently.

In a release made available to sportsbash.com.ng, and signed by the Director General of the Kwara State Sports Commission, Dr.  Steve Olarinoye, they charged the new Sole Administrator to work assiduously to ensure a turn-around of the institution which combines the teachings of football basics and academic excellence.

“This is to inform the general public that His Excellency, Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq has generously approved the appointment of Mallam Bako Oladele Ibrahim as the Acting Sole Administrator of Kwara Football Academy (KFA) with effect from Thursday August 26th, 2021”, the release read in part.

The letter added that the appointment is based on his wealth of experience as a seasoned sports administrator.

“The Executive Chairman and the entire Board members of the Kwara State Sports Commission thank His Excellency for the well deserved appointment, and also congratulate Mallam Bako Oladele Ibrahim for the opportunity” the release added.

Meanwhile, the Acting Sole  Administrator of Kwara Football Academy, Mallam Bako Oladele Ibrahim resumed in his today, and performed his first duty, when he received the Executive Chairman of the Sports Commission, Mallam Bola Mogaji, the Director General, Dr. Steve Olarinoye and other members of the Commission in his office.

The Executive Chairman charged the Acting Sole Administrator to justify the confidence reposed on him by the Governor, to ensure total turn-around of the institution.

Mallam Bako seeks the support of the government, Sports Commission, stakeholders as well as members of staff of the institution, towards raising the standard of the Academy.
