Offa agog for KTM schools cycling championship

The ancient town of Offa was almost at a standstill when school children in both primary and junior secondary schools converged at Offa Grammar School for the Kwara South KTM school cycling championship.

The convener of the cycling event and Director General of KTM Foundation, Dr Khadijat ‘Toyin Musah enjoined the participants to leverage on the cycles made available by the foundation to hone their talents and become great cyclists in the class of Adisa Keke who has represented the state and the country to become an icon.

The University Administrator thanked the management of Offa Grammar School for hosting all the kids from Kwara South, adding that selected cyclists will be invited to Ilorin at the weekend for the grand finale.

The cycling train will move to Lafiagi in Kwara North, while Shao town, also in Kwara North will see youth riders displaying their artistry on the bike provided by KTM on Wednesday at Government Day Secondary School Shao in Moro Local Government Area of Kwara State.
