Sunday Dare who is Nigeria’s Minister of Sports has expressed happiness and complete satisfaction about the goal Kwara United midfielder Afeez Nasiru scored against Katsina United in the NPFL.
Kwara United were at their best in match-day 18 against Katsina United in which Afeez Nasiru’s 45 yards free kick gave Biffo and his wards the lead.
The Harmony Boys went on to win the match 2-1 thereby ending Katsina United’s unbeaten home record in the Nigerian Professional Football League.
On Friday, April 16, Kwara United media team reposted video of the goal scored by Afeez Nasiru against Katsina United which was viewed by Mr Sunday Dare.
The Minister however downloaded the video and posted it on his social media pages hailing the goal scorer and the entire Kwara United team.
“This is the wonder goal scored by Kwara United against Katsina United in Katsina and I am impressed with it,” Minister Sunday Dare explained.
While reacting, Afeez Nasiru thanked Sports Minister Sunday Dare for appreciating his effort and promised to continue to do his best for Kwara United this season.
“It is a thing of joy for a player to be appreciated by the Sports Minister and I want to thank him for this and I’m also promising that I will continue to do my best for Kwara United,” Afeez Nasiru stated.
Since he was appointed as the Minister of Sports in Nigeria, Mr Sunday Dare has been superb in the discharge of his duties considering his styles of leadership.
He has contributed immensely to the development of Sports in Nigeria with him making awesome impact in all sporting activities.
Meanwhile, Kwara United are still topping the League table and Biffo and his men will resume the second stanza of the League with an away game at Nasarawa United.
