Under dogs, Adoration Boys today, Tuesday December 24, 2024, at A- Division playing field, defeated highly rated Arsenal Kiddies Football Academy on penalties to lift the 9th edition of Victor Okosun Xmas kids trophy.

They won the penalty by 3-2.

The much anticipated encounter lived up to its billing as both teams went through difficult routes to get to the final.

Arsenal Kiddies defeated Gerewu FA 2-0, while Adoration Boys defeated Surprise FA through penalties in the semi-final.

Adoration Boys turned out to be penalty specialists in the competition.

In his closing remarks, the Chairman of the day, Prince John Oladimeji praised the kids and their coaches, for a successful tournament.

He used the opportunity to wish the children a merry Christmas and a happy new year in advance.
