The Chairman of the Kwara state Council of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Alhaji AbdulRazaq Ariwoola will on Saturday, be at the stands at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Lagos, with his members, to cheer United to victory.
They will be among thousands of football stakeholders that will drum support for Kwara United as they take on Abakaliki FC in the final of this year’s President Federation Cup competition.
Speaking to the Chief Executive Officer of Sportspro, Bayour Issah in his office today, Monday June 23, 2025, Alhaji Ariwoola said that the Union is excited with the achievement of the team, and will share in the party in Lagos.
“We are happy with the development, which is a plus for the state, and for our Governor. That was why we are giving out some of our vehicles to transport football stakeholders and fans to Lagos, to support the team.
“We haven’t reaches this stage before, and we must celebrate the feat. We congratulate our Governor and every Kwaran.
“We have gone further to pledge transporting some stakeholders to Lagos, and to also join in the support by personally been in Lagos to see how it will happen.
Kwara United defeated Rangers International of Enugu by a lone goal in the semi-final, while their counterparts in Saturday’s final edged Ikorodu FC in the other semi-final.
