Kwara DOS congratulates Attahiru on his re-appointment as SA Sports

The Kwara State Director of Sports, Mallam Ibrahim Alarape Atanda has congratulated Mallam Attahiru Ibrahim on his re-appointment as the Special Assistant on Sports and Youth Development Matters.

Mallam Attahiru was removed from the position few months ago, and was returned to the same position by His Excellency, Governor AbdulRahmqn AbdulRazaq as he announces new sets of SAs.

Mallam Atanda said that the re-appointment of Mallam Attahiru might not be unconnected with his inputs and contributions, which added value to the system in his first coming.

He also added that it was a confirmation of his remarkable achievement in the sector.

While commending Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on the re-appointment of Mallam Attahiru, he praised the exemplary and leadership attributes of the former volleyballer, which, according to him, has made a huge difference towards the uplift of sports in Kwara state.

He praised the state’s number one citizen for his vision in selecting a capable personality with credibility, to support him in running the affairs of sports in the state.

Mallam Alarape, while urging the new SA Sports to sustain and build on the legacies he has laid in his first term, prayed Almighty Allah to grant him good health and abundant wisdom to pilot the affairs of the assignment.

He also urged him to take advantage of the renovation and modernisation of sports facilities, as well as the construction of new sports infrastructure in the state, by not only encouraging massive sports participation, but also building business, sponsorship and marketing opportunities around them.

He assured him of the full support of the Kwara State Sports Council.
