Kwara hosts NWFL match, three President Federation Cup matches tomorrow in Ilorin

*Gate fee fixed for N200

The Rashidi Yekini Main-Bowl of the George Agbazika Innih Stadium Complex, Ilorin will tomorrow, Wednesday March 19, 2025, host four decisive matches in both the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) and the Round of 64 of the President Federation Cup competition.

Hostilities will begin as early as 8.00am, while matches have also been scheduled for 10.00am, 1.00pm and 4.00pm, in that order, as watching all the matches will attract only a fee of N200.

This was contained in a release by the Kwara State Football Association, and signed by the Chairman, Mallam Idris Abdullahi Musa, popularly known as Thuraya.

Ekiti Queens FC will take on Edo Queens FC from 8:00am, in the NWFL Matchday 8.

Ekiti Queens FC has relocated to Ilorin, and will be using Rashidi Yekini Main-Bowl as their new home for NWFL matches because of construction works on Oluyemi Kayode Stadium, Ado Ekiti.

Next will be Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side, Sunshine Stars of Akure taking on FC Bako of Kogi state, in the first match of the Round of 64 of the President Federation Cup in Ilorin centre, from 10.00am.

By 1.00pm, it will be the turn of Osun United FC of Osun state taking on FWC FC of Abuja, while by 4.00pm, Inter Lagos of Lagos state will take the centre stage against Harmony FA of Niger state.

The release added that adequate preparations have been put in place to ensure a hitch-free atmosphere before, during and after the matches, even as the FA enjoined Kwarans to visit the stadium to enjoy good football.
