The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Kwara State Chapter, has congratulated the General Manager of Kwara United F.C., Mallam Bashir Badawiy, on his appointment as the Director of Football of the Tinubu Support Organization (TSO).

In a statement jointly signed by the Chairman, Mallam Ismail Ayodeji, and the Assistant Secretary, Sodiq Adebara, the Association described the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of Mallam Badawiy’s dedication, competence, and long-standing contributions to football administration and sports development.

Kwara SWAN noted that Mallam Badawiy has distinguished himself as a committed football administrator whose leadership and managerial expertise have continued to strengthen the operations and progress of Kwara United Football Club.

The Association said his appointment as Director of Football of the Tinubu Support Organization reflects the confidence reposed in his experience, professionalism, and deep understanding of football management and development.

“Mallam Bashir Badawiy has consistently demonstrated passion, discipline, and commitment to the growth of football.

“His new role is another opportunity for him to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of the game and the promotion of sporting initiatives,” the statement read.

Kwara SWAN expressed optimism that his wealth of experience will greatly benefit the organization while further enhancing the development of football in Nigeria.

The Association prayed for a successful tenure for the newly appointed Director, asking Almighty Allah to grant him wisdom, strength, and greater accomplishments in his new responsibility.
