Kwara United Football Club emerging victorious in the final of the 2025 President Federation Cup competition against Abakaliki FC on Saturday will further boost all developmental processes in the state, under the leadership of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
This much was revealed by Alhaji Abdulkadir Attahiru Adamu Manko, who commended Governor AbdulRazaq for raising the state’s profile on all fronts.
“Our Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is doing wonderfully well in all sectors, and winning the Federation Cup will be part of his ground breaking efforts in the state.
“It will equally boost the club in terms of branding and marketing, as the club itself has become a brand in Nigeria league and football.
Alhaji Abdulkadir Attahiru Adamu Manko, a unifying force for Kwara North’s unprecedented development and progress equally commended Kwara football stakeholders for rallying round the team, pointing out that the unity will assist the team in Saturday’s final.
“As the Zanako Etsu Patigi and Durbin Lafiagi, I enjoin all well meaning Kwarans to pray for the team’s success come Saturday.
The Kwara North Senatorial hopeful in the 2027 General Election has also pledged to be in Lagos to support the team to victory.
Kwara United will square up against Abakaliki FC in the final of the President Federation Cup final on Saturday June 28, 2025, at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos.
