The Vice Chairman of Kwara State Football Association, Bashorun Kayode Bankole has shouldered the financial burden of transporting Kwara United Football Club from Ilorin to Lagos, for the semi-final of the President Federation Cup competition.
Bashorun Bankole equally seeks early movement of the team to Lagos, for the match scheduled for Mobolaji Johnson Arena on Wednesday May 21, 2025.
With the Matchday 38 matches of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) shifted, focus will now be on the President Federation Cup competition. Kwara United will take on Rangers in Lagos, while Abakaliki FC takes on Ikorodu FC in Abuja.
