Radio Kwara commends SWAN Chairman, Ayodeji Ismail, for outstanding performance

The Chairman of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Kwara State Chapter, Mallam Salihu Ayodeji Ismail, has received a major commendation from the management of the Kwara State Broadcasting Corporation (Radio Kwara) for his dedication, professionalism, and exceptional contributions to the growth of the station.

The commendation was conveyed in an official letter dated June 30, 2026, signed by the General Manager of Radio Kwara, Mr. Kayode Aremu, who praised Ismail for his selfless service, commitment to excellence, and unwavering efforts toward promoting effective and efficient service delivery within the corporation.

According to the management, Ismail, a staff member of the station’s Marketing Department, has distinguished himself through his professionalism and dedication to duty.

The letter specifically acknowledged his active participation as a member of the corporation’s Festival Committee, where he consistently demonstrated competence and commitment in carrying out assigned responsibilities.

Radio Kwara also lauded his significant contributions to Outside Broadcast Coverage and marketing activities, describing his efforts as invaluable to the continued success and visibility of the corporation.

The management further highlighted his remarkable teamwork spirit, versatility, and ability to effectively multitask, qualities that have earned him admiration among colleagues and management alike.

While congratulating him on the recognition, the corporation encouraged Ismail to sustain the high standards he has become known for, noting that the commendation was a reflection of his exceptional service and dedication to institutional development.

The recognition comes at a time when Ismail is also receiving widespread acclaim for his leadership of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) in Kwara State.

Since assuming office as Chairman, he has championed several initiatives aimed at repositioning sports journalism, strengthening professional ethics, and enhancing collaboration among sports stakeholders across the state.
