The final of the maiden edition of the Kwara State Volleyball Association Female Super Cup Championship tagged Oloru 2021 holds on Saturday, begining from 3:00pm, in Oloru, Moro Local Government area of Kwara State.
The competition is being sponsored by the immediate past Commissioner for works and transport, Hon. Rotimi Sulyman.
According Coach Wale Badamosi, the final of the championship is between Niger Ravens and team of the host community, Oloru Super Angels .
To reach final, Niger Ravens defeated Olalomi Royal Club three straight sets in the first semi-final, to set up a final clash with Oloru Super Angels, who had earlier defeated Legacy Volleyball Club in the second semi-final, also by three sets.
The third Place match is slated for 8:00 am, and is between Legacy Volleyball Club and Olalomi Royal Club.
Expected to grace the occasion is the sponsor of the championship, Engr Rotimi Sulyman and friends as well as other dignitaries.
The winner will go home with the sum of one hundred thousand naira, first runners up will get sixty thousand naira, second runners up forty thousand naira, and each participating team will be given ten thousand naira.
