Wushu Kung fu silver medal, a testimony to commitment – GM Radio Kwara

Chairman of the Kwara State Wushu Kungfu Association, Alhaji Kayode Aremu has hailed the silver medal won by Sidiq Bolaji Sidiq as a clear testimony to the association’s unwavering commitment to training and the state government’s timely support for pre-festival tournaments.

Aremu, who is also the General Manager of the Kwara State Broadcasting Corporation, Radio Kwara, expressed joy that Wushu Konfu delivered Team Kwara’s first medal at the ongoing 22nd National Sports Festival in Abeokuta.

He described it as a good omen and a positive signal for the state’s prospects in the competition.

“We trained very hard for this festival. We want to thank Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his support in funding our participation in key tournaments ahead of the festival. It truly helped sharpen our athletes for this moment,” he said.

Alhaji Aremu urged all Team Kwara athletes to remain focused and committed throughout the festival, voicing strong optimism that more medals will come as events unfold.
