Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) Ilorin FC has officially announced the commencement of its off-season break following the conclusion of the 2025/2026 football campaign.
The club’s season came to an end after a semi-final exit in the FA Cup, where ABS Ilorin FC were defeated by Gaa Akanbi FC on penalties today Thursday April 24, 2026.
Prior to that, the team finished its Nigeria National League (NNL) Conference C campaign in 6th position on the table, securing survival on the final day of the season.
Following the conclusion of all competitive engagements, the management has directed all players and technical crew to proceed on an off-season break.
The club expressed appreciation to the players, coaches, and staff for their commitment and dedication throughout the campaign.
The management of ABS Ilorin FC also extends its sincere gratitude to its partners, Jenik Logistics, and Coach Abdullahi Biffo for their unwavering support during the season.
Players and officials will be duly notified of the resumption date as preparations begin for the next football season.
