Unity FA claimed a resounding 4-2 victory over Okaa Sports at the launch of Swababa Football Organization exhibition match.

The thrilling encounter which took place on Sunday June 15, 2025, at KFA Golden Pitch, Ilorin, saw good display of football artistry from the victorious side.

Unity FA started the game on a brilliant note hitting the net three times in the first 20 minutes of the encounter.

Mohammed Jumah opened the scoring sheet for Unity FA with a nice finish in the early minutes before Ayandele Samuel’s brace which took their goal tally to three.

Although Adebayo Destiny reduced the deficit for unsettled Okaa Sports with a sublime finish to the first half ended 3-1.

Unity FA began from where they left off in the first half, showing the attacking intent and purposeful play.

Adedotun Kamaldeen made it 4-1 from a thunderous 40 yard free-kick leaving to put the game beyond jittery and inexperience Okaa Sports FC side.

However, substitute Samad Lukman reduced the goal deficit for Okaa Sports with a nice finish to give his teammates hope late in the encounter.

Alhaji Adelodun boys pressed hard for more goals to salvage a draw in the encounter but Unity FA remained resolute at the back to claim the historic victory.

The exhibition match had some dignitaries in attendance making the occasion more glamorous.

Some of the top dignitaries that graced the launch are, Executive Chairman Kwara Sports Commission, Mallam Bola Mogaji, Director of Sports, Mallam Ibrahim Bako, Coordinator of ABS Ilorin FC, Jimoh Bashir, Publisher Sportspro News, Bayour Issah, Chairman Okaa Sports, Alhaji Abdullahi Adelodun, Sobi FM Sportscaster Odelana Olaoluwa Peter and other notable individuals.

Swababa Football Organization aims to organize and promote football at the grassroots and to aid the development of the game.
