Bayour Issah @58: Committee thanks Awoniyi, stakeholders

The Committee for the Bayour Issah @50 ceremony has commended all the stakeholders that contributed and graced the ceremony, as well as Super Eagles and Nottingham striker, Taiwo Awoniyi, for the donation of a car and money to the celebrant.

Three activities held yesterday, to celebrate the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sportspro International, Bayour Issah, which included the special prayer at Solagberu Mosque, football match at Kwara Football Academy, and the grand finale, which was the Night of Tributes, held at Henry George Hotel, Ilorin.

At the Mosque, the Chief Imam, Imam Mohammed Jamiu prayed for Bayour Issah and his family, even as he prayed Almighty Allah to grant the celebrant more fruitful years on earth in good health, prosperity and wisdom.

Kwara Football Academy, after playing out a one-all draw against Arsenal Kiddies in the Novelty match, eventually won the match 3-2 on penalties.

Top government functionaries, Chief Executives of parastatals, family members, friends and associates and sports stakeholders graced the grand finale, where the virtues of Bayour Issah were extolled. The General Manager of Radio Kwara, Alhaji Kayode Aremu Chaired the ocassion.

The celebrant also had enough time to tell part of his stories, appreciated identifies personalities, both living and dead, who at any point in time, assisted and supported his journey so far, charging upcoming journalists to get the required education, so as to be at the top of their games.

The Committee therefore, commended all those that contributed in both cash and kind in ensuring the remarkable events were held.
