Diamond FC have emerged champions of the Offa Talent Developers Football League after defeating Focus FA by a lone goal in the final league match of the competition sponsored by Honourable Musemil Kehinde Giwa (GMK).
The keenly contested encounter brought together the leaders of Group A and Group B, respectively, with Diamond FC sealing the championship with a narrow victory over their Group B counterparts, Focus FA.
The competition, which is aimed at promoting grassroots football, discovering young talents and encouraging discipline among aspiring footballers, featured teams across two groups.
Diamond FC finished top of Group A with 19 points from 10 matches, recording five wins, four draws and one defeat. They scored 11 goals and conceded three, giving them a goal difference of plus eight.

Their closest rivals in the group, Sporting FC, also finished with 19 points but placed second on goal difference, having recorded six wins, one draw and three defeats.
Focus FA, meanwhile, dominated Group B to finish top with an impressive 29 points from 12 matches. They recorded nine wins, two draws and one defeat, scoring 19 goals and conceding seven for a goal difference of plus 12.
Despite Focus FA’s impressive performance in the group stage, Diamond FC proved superior in the decisive final league fixture, scoring the only goal of the encounter to claim the championship.
The triumph also highlighted the technical contribution of Coach Lekan Olaoke, who guided Diamond FC to the title.
The league was sponsored by Honourable Musemil Kehinde Giwa, popularly known as GMK, as part of efforts to encourage football development and provide a competitive platform for emerging talents in Offa.

The Executive of the Offa Talent Developers Football League is headed by Honourable Haileru Suleiman as Chairman, with Adeshina Teslim Adewale serving as Secretary.
