YK Superstar will take on Oscar FC in the final of the Kwara Made Us five-a-side football tournament today Saturday, 23rd December 2023.
Proceedings from the tourney that began on Tuesday continued Frday with the quarter-final and the semi-final matches played at the Indoor Sports Hall of the Kwara State Stadium Complex.
The games lived up to its billing as fan were once again thrilled with the scintillating display and top level of five-a-side football witnessed.
In the first quarter-final Beulah were sent packing after they lost 2-0 to 360 FC. Dickalo FA were booted out following their 3-0 defeat to YK Superstar.
Penalties were needed to decide the last two quarter-final matches as Corporate Ballers FC eliminated 2-0 on penalties after it ended goalless with Oscar FC who went on to win in the shootout after converted their two kicks with Corporate Ballers missing theirs. Makamz FA also relied on the luck of penalties as they edge out Kinshood 3-2 after it 1-1.
YK Superstar in the semifinals defeated 360 FC to reach the final, Oscar FC showed superiority over Makamz FA with a 2-0 victory to set up a mouthwatering final with YK Superstar.
