The Chairman of Kwara United Football Club, Kumbi Titiloye has been appointed as a member of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Board.

The announcement was made by the NPFL Board Chairman, Gbenga Elegbeleye, in Abuja.

The appointment, according to the General Manager of the Club, Bashir Badawiy in a congratulatory message, reflects Kumbi’s significant contributions to the development of football in Nigeria

Badawiy further noted that Kumbi’s extensive experience will greatly benefit his new role on the NPFL Board.

Meanwhile, the newly appointed NPFL Board member, Kumbi Titiloye, has extended financial support to shop owners at the Kwara State Stadium Complex, Ilorin.

This gesture, which is a sustainable of his legacy, is part of his efforts to assist the stadium’s business community, particularly in light of the current economic challenges.

Kumbi, who has a history of supporting shop owners at the stadium, emphasized that the donation is aimed at alleviating the hardships many are facing due to the economic situation in the country.

His recent support coincides with his recent appointment to the NPFL board.

Additionally, Titiloye has pledged immediate payment of the team’s winning bonus if Kwara United secures a victory against Remo Stars.

Kwara United is set to face the league leaders, Remo Stars, on Sunday in a Matchday Five clash of the NPFL at the Main-Bowl of the Kwara State Stadium Complex, Ilorin, beginning from4.00pm.
