The Kwara state Director of Sports, Mallam Ibrahim Alarape Atanda has, on behalf of the Council, congratulated the Executive Secretary of NPFL Club Owners Association, Chief Alloy Chinekezie Chukwuemeka (ACC) on his his installation as the Nwachigoziri 1,
of Umualumaku Community in Ehime Mbano in Imo state.
Chief Alloy Chukwuemeka, the Director of Football, Abubakar Bukola Saraki FC was installed by His Royal Highness, Eze C.U Okoro Aku 1, during a colourful and well attended ceremony in his palace on Friday.
And according to the Director, the honour is well deserved, considering the notable contributions of Chief Alloy to his community, and what he stands for in Nigeria as a whole.
“Honour should be awarded to those that deserves it, and I will say the conferment of the title on Chief Alloy Chukwuemeka and his wife is well deserved, considering what they stand for in their community, and their contributions towards building it”, the Director said.
He therefore prayed Almighty Allah to grant him the wealth, wisdom, strength and knowledge to continue to remain relevant, and to justify the historic elevation in Umualumaku Community.
The astute administrator and seasoned sports journalist, who is also a member of the Strategic Studies Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) was honoured by his community for his contributions to unity and peace, sports development, support to community development and humanity.
Mallam Alarape also pray Almighty Allah to continue to strengthen Chief Alloy Chukwuemeka’s mother, whose 87th birthday celebration coincided with the installation of her son as Nwachigoziri 1, of the community.
The mother, Ezinne Felicia Adamma Ebonugwo was 87th on Friday, and the Director rejoiced with the strong and agile grand mother, praying Allah to grant her more fruitful years on earth, in good health and prosperity.
Notable football stakeholders, the sporting media practitioners across the country, friends, well wishers and associates witnessed the ceremony.
