Kwara FA Chairman hosts Muslim faithfuls for Iftar

It was a moment of fiesty and gaiety on Tuesday when the Kwara State Football Association Chairman, Mallam Abdullahi Idris Musa hosted hosted Muslim faithfuls for Iftar.

Ably represented by the Association’s Secretary, Hashim Agaka, the Chairman emphasized the significance of generousity as one of the messages of the sacred month of Ramadan.

“I want to urge all Muslims to imbibe the act of sharing and giving in this sacred month and beyond, by doing this, I believe the society will get better for everybody” he said.

Some of the dignitaries present at the Alhaji Usman Mustapha Football House, who in their separate remarks commended the Chairman for his gesture were the Chairman of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) Kwara State Chapter; Jimoh Bashir and the ace Sportscaster and Publisher of Sportspro News; Bayour Issah.

Others include, Special Assistant to the FA Chairman; Alhaji Ahmed Abdallah, ace photographer; Abdul Momoh and Ojomu Idowu; the photographer and videographer of Sportspro News.

Meanwhile, the Kwara FA Chairman revealed that the Iftar will continue to hold at the premises of the Secretariat till the end of the sacred month of Ramadan.
