Kwara FA, stakeholders lure Bosso to Ilorin for Talent Discovery, Coaching Clinic

Kwara State Football Association, in collaboration with stakeholders will again cement its role and commitment in creating a platform to discover talented young players with a scouting programme aim to assist, identify and empowering rising talents under the age of 20 to the National U-20 team.

Under the leadership of Malam Idris Abdullahi Musa, the FA latest drive in conjunction with individuals and other bodies, will see Head Coach of the National U-20 team, the Flying Eagles, Issa Ladan Bosso, arrive in ilorin on Friday, together with highly skilled coaches for the scouting clinic expected to run between October 8-9, 2021 at the Kwara State Stadium starting from 9:00am.

The FA Head of Media & Publicity, Bolaji Lawal confirmed that about six teams in Kwara United FC, Foresight Academy, Gidado FC, Abraysports FC, House of Prayer FC and Kwara Football Academy
have all been selected to participate in the scouting exercise.

He added that a Coaching Seminar to be delivered by the Chairman of Nigeria Football Coaches Association (Ladan Bosso) has also been scheduled for all registered coaches under the auspices of the Kwara State Football Coaches Association, led by Coach Tunde Sanni, on Saturday.

According to the statement, he noted that the Special Adviser to the Kwara State Government on Sports, Alhaji Attahiru Ibrahim, Vice-Chairman of the FA, Hon. Bashorun Bankole and Chairman, Kwara United FC, Kumbi Titiloye were among the contributors to the exercise also meant to assist clubs and academies in promoting their products.
