The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Kwara State Chapter, has congratulated the Chairman of the Kwara State Football Association, Hon. Idris Abdullahi Musa Thuraya, on his outstanding leadership and continued contributions to the development of football in Kwara State.

In a statement jointly signed by the Chairman, Mallam Ismail Ayodeji, and the Assistant Secretary, Sodiq Adebara, the Association described Hon. Musa as a passionate sports administrator whose commitment, vision, and inclusive leadership have repositioned football in the state and restored confidence among stakeholders.

Kwara SWAN commended the Kwara FA Chairman for his unwavering dedication to grassroots football development, youth empowerment, and the promotion of unity through sports, noting that his tenure has witnessed renewed energy, improved organization, and increased opportunities for young talents across the state.

The Association also acknowledged Hon. Musa’s cordial relationship with the media and his consistent support for sports writers, describing his engagement with SWAN as a reflection of his belief in transparency, collaboration, and the critical role of the media in sports development.
