Kwara United Football Club today, Saturday July 20, 2024, underscored its branding potentials while working out ahead of next season’s campaign after it tested the Zeems Sports Arena in Offa for its ongoing preparations.

The Club management, after a workout session at the place, hailed the establishment of the facility, calling it a laudable initiative.

“It’s a world class sporting complex,” said Bashir Badawiy, the General Manager of Kwara United, speaking in representative capacity for Kumbi Titiloye, the club Chairman.

“Facility here is like that of clubs in Europe.

“There is seven aside, eight aside pitch to train, we adopted the idea to test the fitness of our players here and for real, the owner has done well for putting this structure in place”

“Assessing the performance of the players, Mallam Badawiy said the players are young and ready to blend with old ones. Their movement is encouraging as the preparation progresses” Badawiy added.

He stressed that the club will seek for the state government’s approval for the close camp in Offa where Zeems Sports Arena will be majorly used for their last training after Valuejet Preseason tournament in Ikene.

He recalled that the last time Kwara United played in the continent, they camped in Offa where they received royal and spiritual blessings from Oloffa and Chief Imam, Sheikh Saliman Muyideen.

Earlier, the club Technical Adviser, Kabir Dogo said the players are responding positively to the instructions of the technical crew and believes in the team’s unity and integration to deliver the good result in coming season.

Zeems Sports Arena was established by Aare Musbau Olalekan Olaniyi to promote sporting activities in Kwara.
