Kwara United Queens to resume June 26 ahead of NWFL debut season

As preparations intensify for the upcoming Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) season scheduled to kick off in August 2026, players of Kwara United Queens have been directed to resume camp activities later this month.

According to an official statement signed by club’s Secretary, Yusuf Mardiyyah on behalf of the club’s management, all selected players are expected to report to the team’s camp at the George Agbazika Innih Stadium Complex, Ilorin, Kwara State, between Friday, June 26 and Sunday, June 28, 2026.

The management emphasized that any player who fails to report on or before Monday, June 29, 2026, will be automatically dropped from the squad list.

The resumption notice follows the recent approval and endorsement by the Kwara State Government for the establishment of Kwara United Queens FC, paving the way for the club’s participation in the nation’s women’s football league.

The club’s management urged all concerned stakeholders to ensure that the information reaches the selected players promptly and is given the necessary attention as preparations begin for the team’s maiden NWFL campaign.
