Players and officibals of Kwara United Football Club have felicitated the club’s General Manager, Mallam Bashir Badawiy, who added another year to his age today Monday, August 25, 2025.

The celebration was greeted with ovation and encomiums from players and staff of the club, who described Badawiy as a committed leader and strong pillar of support to the team.

Speaking on behalf of the players, team Captain Musa Afeez Olororo prayed for God’s continued guidance and blessings upon the football administrator, asking Allah to grant him many more years in good health and prosperity.

Àlsó, the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Kwara State chapter, joined family, friends, and the entire football community in celebrating the General Manager of Kwara United Football Club, Mallam Badawy, as he marks his birthday anniversary.

In a goodwill message jointly signed by the Chairman of Kwara SWAN, Mallam Ismail Ayodeji, and the Assistant Secretary, Sodiq Adebara, the Association applauded Mallam Badawy for his outstanding service, visionary leadership, and deep passion for the growth of football in Kwara State.

The statement noted that under his stewardship, Kwara United has continued to enjoy stability and progress, attributing this to his managerial acumen and relentless pursuit of excellence.

“Mallam Badawy is not just an administrator but a motivator whose commitment to the success of Kwara United has been a source of inspiration to players, coaches, and stakeholders.

“He represents the qualities of discipline, dedication, and foresight needed to drive sports development in the state,” the statement read.

Kwara SWAN prayed that the new age of the football boss brings him renewed strength, fulfillment, and greater accomplishments, while wishing him a long life filled with good health and happiness.
