Former Kwara United Football Club of Ilorin, General Manager, Alhaji Mohammrd Haruna Maigidansanma has congratulated Coach Tunde Sanni and his boys for reaching the semi-final of the 2025 President Federation Cup.

It would be recalled that Kwara United emerged victorious in the quarter-finals of the 2025 President Federation Cup, defeating Akwa United and securing a coveted semi-final ticket in the process.

Maigidansanma, in a statement today Sunday May 4, 2025, saluted the team’s management, the fans and supporters for the team going as far as the semi-final of the competition.

“Indeed, its an incredible performance,” he said.

The former Kwara United’s GM praised Coach Tunde Sanni and his players for their dedication and hard work, which has brought pride to the state.

His statement urged the team to sustain their current form and strive for excellence, with the ultimate goal of lifting the trophy and bringing glory to Kwara State.

He acknowledged and pleaded to the management to maintain the seamless support to the team in attaining the hall of fame.

He added that with this win, Kwara United has proven its mettle, and fans eagerly await the team’s performance and success in the semi-finals.

Kwara United came from a 2-0 deficit and level the scores before they eventually came out victorious 5-3 in a penalty shootout to secure a semi-final date with Rnagers International FC of Enugu.
