NALCOMA condemns armed robbery attack on Anyansi-Agwu

National League Club Owners and Managers Association (NALCOMA) has condemned the armed robbery attack on Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) 1st Vice President, Chief Felix Anyansi-Agwu.

The longest serving Chairman of Enyimba International FC of Abia State was attacked by armed robbers at his Gwarimpa Estate residence, in Abuja at about 10.00pm on Tuesday night.

NALCOMA President, Godwin Enakhena in a message condemned the attack, describing it as barbaric and unfortunate.

“The attack is very unfortunate and condemnable, especially when it is perpetrated in a highbrow residential area like Gwarimpa, which is believed to have lots of security networks.

Reports said that his car was stolen, while cash, jewelries, phones and other properties worth millions were equally carted away, leaving him injured.

The incidence has been reported to the police, and the former Enyimba FC boss is in stable condition and receiving further treatment.

Enakhena charged the police and other security agencies to fish out the perpetrators and bring them to book.

“Chief Anyansi is a jolly good fellow who radiates love wherever he goes, we thank God for his life and that of his family. Security agencies should as a matter of urgency fishout these undesirable elements”, stated the Sporting Lagos Football Club chairman.
