My ambition is to have one of my products play for Arsenal FC of England -Ahamioje

The Founder and Proprietor of Arsenal Kiddies Football Academy, Soni Ahamioje has said that he would be a fulfilled man if one of his players one day achieve the ambition of dorning the colours of Arsenal Football Club of England.

Speaking at a reunion match between the old and new players of the Academy, in a match played in honour of the Academy’s late Patron, Supol Sanni Ojo on Monday January 6, 2025, at the A’ Division Police Barrack pitch, Ahamioje said he has come a long way in nurturing young talents to stardom.

“We have come a long way at Arsenal Kiddies Football Academy, and we would be fulfilled to have one of our players play for the London based club, whose philosophy and style of play we have adopted.

Ahamioje, a Micro-Biologist and LaLiga trained Coach has produced players that have played at the U17 World Cup, Olakunle Olusegun, who is currently plying his trade in Russia, and others who are scattered all over other parts of Europe and Nigerian League.

He thanked the old and new players for sustaining the reunion match, which reminiscence memorable moments about the Academy.

He charged one of the old players, Abdullahi Jonathan, who coordinated the reunion match to ensure that the tradition is sustained.

The Chairman of Kwara YSFON, Mallam Ademola Kayesola expressed delight with the fluent display by the two teams, even as he charged them on discipline and dedication. He pledged continuous support of YSFON for the Academy.

The new players defeated their old counterparts 4-1 in a match that was watched my the children of late Supol Sanni Ojo, Kamaldeen, Jummai and Aishat.
