The Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) has approved the appointment of Mallam Tunde Kazeem as a member of the Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) Constitution Review Committee.
In a letter signed by Engineer Habu Gumel, President of NOC, the appointment of Tunde Kazeem is in recognition of his wealth of experience and outstanding contribution to Nigerian sports as well as the Olympic Movement.
The NOC hoped that the former Chairman of the Director of Sports Forum in Nigeria would bring to bear his expertise and experience in achieving the goals of his Committee for the benefit of the Olympic Family.
Part of the terms of reference to members of the Constitution Review Committee is to assess the potency or impact of the Nigeria Olympic Committee Constitution as currently in force since 2021.
In his acceptance speech, Mallam Tunde Kazeem promised to use his wealth of experience gathered in the sporting sector for over four decades to contribute to the Olympic Movement.
He said, “I am elated with the appointment made by the NOC to be a member of the Constitution Review Committee.
“I promise to discharge my duties to the best of my abilities and use my experience gathered over four decades in sports to bring the desired goal”, he averred.
