Paris 2024 Paralympics: Mallam Kazeem hails Bolaji for winning bronze

The Technical Director of Badminton Federation of Nigeria (BFN), Mallam Tunde Kazeem has hailed Eniola Bolaji for winning a bronze medal at the ongoing Paris 2024 Paralympics.

Bolaji won a bronze medal in the Women’s SL3 Para-badminton event, becoming the first African to achieve the feat.

Kazeem, who is currently in Paris revealed that Bolaji’s feat has lifted the spirit of other para-athletes at the Games.

The Ex-International believes that Eniola Bolaji is capable of becoming World Number One if she attends more international tournaments in the coming years.

Kazeem said, “The nation is currently agog because of the exploits of Eniola Bolaji at the Paris 2024 Paralympics where she won a bronze medal. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State have congratulated the young girl; this will be a motivation to other athletes.

“I strongly believe that Eniola Bolaji is capable of becoming World Number One because of her consistency and determination in the sport.

“The Badminton Federation of Nigeria (BFN) will ensure that she gets the maximum support and attends all the available international tournaments.

“I want to thank the Badminton Confederation African (BCA), Nigeria Government and Kwara State Government for their support and we hope it continues”.
