Ilorin, the Kwara State capital will be the center of attraction and attention for the best of 5-a-side football tournament as Phreestyle Sport will be organizing maiden ‘Kwara Made Us’ tournament.
The week long intense soccer fiesta will be taking place between 18th and 23rd of December, 2023 with the aim of honoring the state with the 5-a-side competition.
Shogo Shodunnke who is the brainbehind the initiative disclosed that the 5-a-side event was also aimed to “honor Kwara State’s impact on fostering opportunities and providing sustainable platforms for the prosperity of both indigenes and non-indigenes, acknowledging it’s role in advancing individuals and creating a conducive environment for all to sprout.”
The event will be held at the Indoor Hall of Kwara State Stadium Complex, Ilorin with table tennis, rugby and badminton chosen as side attraction sports on the final day.
Shodunnke said the tournament is opened to collaboration and partnership with any interested individuals and organizations to make it more colorful.
About 24 teams will be participating at the tournament as fantastic prizes will be given to outstanding teams and players at the final.
