Ramsaky All Stars are currently in the driving seat to join Afase All Stars in the final of the AA Veterans Unity Cup, after the first five weeks of action.
According to the latest league table, Afase All Stars have already established themselves at the summit with 12 points from five matches, winning four and losing just one.
Ramsaky All Stars occupy second position with seven points, having recorded two wins, one draw and two defeats. MD All Stars are third on six points, with two wins and three defeats, while Full Moon All Stars are fourth with four points.
With the competition entering Week Six, Ramsaky All Stars therefore, have the advantage over MD All Stars in the race for the second final ticket.
However, the battle is far from over.
The Week Six fixtures have produced a fascinating scenario, with Ramsaky ALL Stars facing league leaders Afase, while MD take on Full Moon.
A victory for Ramsaky would take them to 10 points, making their position very strong. But should Ramsaky lose and MD win, MD would move to nine points, leapfrogging Ramsaky and dramatically changing the complexion of the race.
A draw for MD would take them to seven points, level with Ramsaky, meaning other tie-breaking considerations could become decisive.
The situation makes the final week of the group campaign particularly intriguing, with every goal and every point potentially determining who joins the already-qualified Afase in the grand finale.
The AA Veterans Unity Cup, organised under the Kwara State All Stars Football Family, has continued to provide a platform for former footballers and veterans to reconnect through the game, while promoting friendship, unity, respect and the preservation of football memories.
The Week Six matches are scheduled for Saturday, August 29, 2026, at the KFA Pitch, George Agbazika Innih Stadium, Ilorin, with proceedings scheduled between 7:30am and 11:00am.

Ramsaky are presently in the second-final position, but MD still have a realistic chance of overtaking them in Week Six.
