The Chairman of the Kwara State Football Association, Mallam Idris Abdullahi Musa has, on behalf of the football fraternity in the state, congratulated Mallam Bolakale Adisa Magaji on his re-appointment as the Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Sports Commission.
Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq approved the reconstitution of the Kwara State Sports Commission on Monday August 18, 2025, with the return of Magaji.
Others reappointed to serve on the board are Alhaji Dele Abubakar (MON), member representing Kwara Central, and Hon. Abdullahi Yunusa Lade, member representing Kwara North and Mrs. Monisola Yemisi Makanjuola, who will be representing Kwara South.
Mallam Idris, popularly known as Thuraya described the reappointment as a fresh dawn for Sports in Kwara.
“On behalf of the entire football family in Kwara State, I congratulate Mallam Bola Magaji on his well-deserved reappointment as the Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Sports Commission.
“Your reappointment is a clear testimony to your outstanding leadership, unwavering commitment, and remarkable contributions to the development of sports in our dear state. The Kwara FA recognizes your tireless efforts in repositioning the sports sector and creating an enabling environment for young talents to thrive.
