The Chairman of Kwara State Sports Commission, Mallam Bola Mogaji has congratulated members of the Nigeria Association for Physical & Health Education, Recreation, Sports and Dance (NAPHER-SD) from the state, who contested and won elections into various Sports Federations.
The Director-General of the Kwara State Sports Commission, Dr Steve Olarinoye, former Director of Sports, Mallam Tunde Kazeem, Alhaji Bode Durotoye and the Stadium Manager, Wale Obalola won their elections into various Sports Federations at the successful NAPHER-SD elections held in Lagos today.
Dr Steve Olarinoye was elected into the board of Nigeria Weightlifting Federation (NWF), Tunde Kazeem was elected into the Badminton Federation of Nigeria (BFN), Alhaji Bode Durotoye into the Nigeria Chess Federation (NCF), while Wale Obalola was elected into the Nigeria Cricket Federation (NCF).
Mogaji commended the sports administrators for emerging as board members that would represent the state and Federations, the main decision-making organ of the country.
He commended Kwara State Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for his support to the various sports association
